[Android] Player crashes when “com.google.android.play:core:1.10.3” is implemented in mainTemplate gradle file on Android

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project “ReproProject”
2. Ensure Target API Level 34 is selected at (menu: Edit > Project Settings > Player > Other Settings > Target API Level)
3. Build And Run on Android
4. Observe the app’s behaviour

Expected result: The app runs successfully
Actual result: The app crashes

Reproducible with: 2021.3.34f1, 2022.3.18f1, 2023.2.7f1, 2023.3.0b4

Note: Commenting/removing the “com.google.android.play:core:1.10.3” in the mainTemplate.gradle resolves the crash.

    United play core library is obsolete. Updated play libraries should be used.
