An error is thrown when using a static font and Editor Text Generator Type is set to Advanced
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-135335” project
2. In the Preferences window, make sure Editor Text Generator Type is set to Advanced
3. In the Project window, open the “ListView.uxml” asset
4. In the UI Builder Hierarchy, expand objects and select the Label
5. Observe the Console
Actual result: Errors related to ATG are thrown
Expected result: No errors are thrown
Reproducible with: 6000.3.0a5 (36d7e9fd6645), 6000.3.11f1, 6000.4.0b11, 6000.5.0a8
Not reproducible with: 6000.3.0a4
Couldn’t test with: 6000.0.70f1 (No option in Preferences)
Reproducible on: macOS 26.3 (M1 Pro)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Label has Text Generator Type set to Standard
- Error thrown: “Advanced text system cannot render using static font asset”
