A 60 FPS video starts immensely lagging when in Play Mode the TargetFrameRate is changed to 30 FPS
How to reproduce:
- Open the “IN-63410_VideoPlayerTest.zip” project
- Open the “SampleScene”
- Select a Video Clip “problem_60frame“ in the VideoPlayer Component
- Enter Play Mode
- Press the “F“ key on the keyboard (to change the TargetFrameRate to 30)
- Observe the Game view
- Press the “F“ key on the keyboard (to change the TargetFrameRate to 60)
- Observe the Game view
Expected results: The “problem_60frame“ video does not lag after the TargetFrameRate is changed to 30
Actual results: The “problem_60frame“ video lags after the TargetFrameRate is changed to 30
Reproducible in: 2022.3.0f1, 2022.3.15f1, 2023.1.0a13, 2023.2.4f1, 2023.3.0a13
Not reproducible in: 2021.3.33f1, 2022.2.21f1, 2023.1.0a12, 2023.3.0a19
