[2022.2] VFX with Blend Mode “Opaque” is not visible if Depth Priming Mode is set to “Auto” or “Forced” when enabling “Screen Space Ambient Occlusion” or “Decal” settings
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “depth-prepass-vfx.zip” project
2. Observe the Game window
Expected result: VFX is visible
Actual result: VFX isn’t visible
Reproducible with: 14.0.3 (2022.2.0b13), 14.0.6 (2022.2.8f1)
Not reproducible with: 12.1.10 (2021.3.21f1), 14.0.3 (2022.2.0b12), 14.0.6 (2022.2.9f1, 2022.2.12f1), 15.0.4 (2023.1.0b9), 16.0.0 (2023.2.0a7)
Could not test with: 10.10.1 (2020.3.46f1 setting are not available)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.2.1 (Intel)
Notes:
Not reproducible with “Disabled” Depth Priming Mode
Not reproducible if VFX Blend Mode is not “Opaque”
Not reproducible if “Screen Space Ambient Occlusion” or “Decal” is not enabled in Settings > URP-HighFidelity-Renderer
