[2018.x] Fatal error when opening project in editor that was created using command line and has some assets added to it
To reproduce:
1. Create a new project from the command line using '-quit -batchmode -createProject newProjectPath -logFile'
2. Create a new empty .cs file in the Assets folder
3. Open the project using the same version of Unity
Expected: the project will be opened
Actual: Fatal error is thrown
Reproduced: 2018.1.2f1, 2018.2.0b5
Not reproducible: 2017.1.3f1, 2017.2.2p4, 2017.3.2f1
