Regression
Yes
Graph Inspectors dropdowns are opened at the bottom of the screen when "Compiling shader" process is in progress"
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "ShaderGraphET" project
2. Open the "New Shader Graph" Shader Graph
3. In the Graph Inspector Graph Settings click the "Clipping" field checkbox to trigger shader compilation
4. Open any dropdown in the Graph Inspector while the "Compiling Shader" process is in progress
Expected results: The dropdown is opened near the field
Actual results: The dropdown is opened at the bottom of the screen
Reproducible with: 6000.0.11f1
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.40f1, 2022.3.38f1
Reproducible on: macOS Sonoma 14.5 (M1)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Can't find the regression point because the preview is blank in early 2023.1 and 2023.2 versions and shader recompilation is not triggered
- Any change on the Shader Graph that triggers recompilation makes it possible to reproduce the issue
