Android build fails when using a compression for Texture
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the user's attached project "LocalizationSingleQuotes.zip"
2. In the Assets folder select "Appcon_DE" and "AppIcon_EN"
3. In the Inspector window change the Compression to "Normal Quality"
4. Build to Android
Expected results: Build completes
Actual results: Build fails due to Texture compression errors
Reproducible with: 2019.4.28f1, 2020.3.14f1, 2021.1.18f1, 2021.2.0b3, 2022.1.0a6
Note:
- The build finishes successfully in 2021.1.0a6 but the error is still thrown in the console
The error:
"Unsupported texture format - Texture2D::EncodeTo functions do not support compressed texture formats.
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent (int,intptr,bool&)"
