Regression
Yes
(Regression) Particle System does not update upon changing Mesh in Shape Module
Steps:
1. Create particle system
2. In Shape Module, choose Mesh
3. Select Cube
4. Simulate the particle system and you will see particles emit from cube vertex positions
5. Change mesh to other meshes e.g. cylinder
6. Even you simulate again, the particles still emit from cube vertices, but you are able to see the cylinder mesh wireframe
Expected result:
When mesh is changed, particle system should update immediately, the wireframe and the emitted particle positions should match
Reproduced with:
2017.1.0b1 (a29fc4a7eb25), 2017.1.0a6, 5.6.0f3
Not reproduced with:
5.5.2f1
Note: Another regression bug is on the wireframe not displaying properly [900937]
