[XR][Quest] MRTK Oculus Quest Hand Tracking Integration does not work when Splash Screen is disabled
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user's attached project
2. In the Edit > Project Settings > Player make sure the Show Splash Screen is disabled
3. Build and Run to an Oculus Quest 2 device
Expected result: Hands have their visuals
Actual result: Hands do not have their visuals
Reproducible with:
Oculus XR Plugin 1.7.0 with Mixed Reality 2.5.4 (2019.4.17f1, 2019.4.24f1)
Oculus XR Plugin 1.8.1 with Mixed Reality 2.5.4 (2019.4.24f1)
Oculus XR Plugin 1.8.1 with Mixed Reality 2.6.1 (2019.4.24f1)
Oculus XR Plugin 1.9.0 with Mixed Reality 2.5.4: (2020.3.5f1, 2021.1.4f1, 2021.2.0a13)
Could not test with: 2018.4.34f1, 2021.2.0a13 (Oculus XR Plugin 1.9.0, Mixed Reality 2.7.0-preview.2) versions due to multiple Console errors
Reproducible on:
N/A, Oculus (Quest 2), Android 10, CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno (TM) 650
Notes:
- By enabling the Splash Screen the hands start showing their visuals
- On 2019.4.24f1 the Splash Screen workaround does not work, while on 2019.4.17f1 it does. This workaround works on all the other tested Unity versions too
