When you creating project and changing it's name - Editor creates 2D project instead of 3D
When you creating project and changing it's name - Editor creates 2D project instead of 3D
2. How we can reproduce it
1 Open Unity Editor
2 Press "New" to create new project
3 Make sure that "3D" is selected
4 Change suggested name of the project (!!! this is key step!!!)
5 Press Create project button
Actual result: 2D project created
Expected result: 3D project should be created

What do you mean this is not reproducable? I get this all the time too, using Unity 5.3.5f1! To get a new 3D project I have to delete the one just created and then create it again. The second time, it will produce a 3D project, but never the first time.

I have this issue ALL THE TIME!
And it exactly does as you say...
Annoying AF.
How to fix this?
