[WebGL] [Mobile] Keyboard doesn't pop-up on mobile in the WebGL Player when using the Text Mesh Pro Input Field
How to reproduce:
1. Open the "IN_68850" project
2. In the Build Settings select the WebGL Platform
3. Press Build
4. Host Build folder through the local host (I used "python -m http.server")
5. Run WebGL on a mobile device
6. In the WebGL Player press on the top Input Field
Expected result: keyboard pops up
Actual result: keyboard stays closed
Reproducible with: 2.0.0, 3.0.6, 3.0.8 (2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.20f1), 4.0.0-pre.2 (2022.3.20f1)
Not reproducible with: Unity UI 2.0.0 (2023.2.11f1, 2023.3.0b7) (no text mesh pro available for these versions)
Couldn't test with Unity UI 1.0.0 package version due to errors in the Console
Fixed in: Unity UI 2.0.0 package
Testing environment: Windows 10 (user reported), Windows 10 Pro
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Reproducible on these devices:
VLNQA00267, Samsung Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F), Android 12, CPU: Exynos 9 (9820), GPU: Mali-G76
VLNQA00120, Google Pixel 2 (Pixel 2), Android 8.1.0, CPU: Snapdragon 835 MSM8998, GPU: Adreno (TM) 540
VLNQA00494 - iPhone 14 Pro Max, 16.3.1 iOS
VLNQA00392 - iPad (9th generation), 15.0 iOS
Notes:
- Couldn't test with the Unity UI 1.0.0 package due to errors in the Console
- Not reproducible on the Android Player
- Issue is not reproducible if using legacy input fields
