Waves and foam lose intensity when the player crosses the boundary defined by WaterSurface.repetitionSize

-

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-104327” project
2. Open the “OutdoorsScene”
3. Dock the Scene View and Game View next to each other so both are visible
4. In the Scene View, zoom out until you can see the borders of the foam
5. In the Hierarchy, click on the “Boat” GameObject so it is highlighted in the Scene View
6. Enter Play Mode and press the “W” key to move
7. Move in one direction and cross the boundary in the Scene view where the foam stops
8. Observe the result in the Game View

Expected result: The foam and waves maintain intensity after crossing the WaterSurface.repetitionSize boundary
Actual result: The foam and waves lose intensity after crossing the WaterSurface.repetitionSize boundary

Reproducible with: 6000.0.50f1, 6000.0.54f1, 6000.2.0b13, 6000.3.0a4
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.49f1

Reproduced on: Windows 11
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested

Note: The user also mentions that after crossing the boundary, the player is sent back to the origin, and waves and foam no longer align with the previous repetition’s phase which causes visual jumps, such as the boat lifting into the air or abruptly falling. This behavior is inconsistent as this only occurred once during testing
