Yes

VS Code opens two empty files in addition to the script file if the project name has a space in it

CodeEditors

-

To reproduce:

1. Create a new project with a space in the name (e.g., "New Project")
2. Create a new script
3. Open the script with VS Code
4. Observe that the editor opens two empty files called New and Project

Expected: the VS Code doesn't open two empty files in addition to the script file

Reproduced in 2018.2.0b2, 2018.2.0b4, 2018.3.0a1
Did not reproduce in 2018.1.1f1, 2018.2.0b1
Regression introduced in 2018.2.0b2

I think I found the solution here, not sure it works for everyone though. In my case I had all my unity projects In a folder named "My Project" since VS Code always made 2 empty file I just tried to rename the parent folder of my project "My Project" to just "MyProject" without blank It just solved.

"Fixed in future release" means 2018.3 unfortunately.

Also this may be resolved in a future release but what do we do until then?

This issue started to occur for me when switching from 2018.1 to 2018.2, specifically on 2018.2.0f2 right now. One work around is just dragging and dropping files into VS Code, but this is still very annoying because I frequently forget and double click files; then I have to close each new blank file and tell it not to save each one costing me 4 clicks to declutter my workspace.
