Volumetric Fog flickers when using the “Output Particle HDRP Volumetric Fog” context in VFX Graph
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project “VfxFogFlicker.zip”
2. Enter the Play Mode
Expected result: Fog doesn’t flicker
Actual result: Fog flickers
Reproducible with: 15.0.3 (2023.1.0a25), 16.0.1 (2023.2.0a9)
Could not test with: 10.10.1 (2020.3.47f1), 12.1.10 (2021.3.22f1), 14.0.6 (2022.2.8f1), 14.0.7 (2022.2.14f1), 15.0.0 (2023.1.0a8), 15.0.2 (2023.1.0a24) (There is no fog)
Reproducible on: macOS 13.2.1 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: macOS 13.2.1 (M1 Max), MacOS 12.2.1 (Intel), Windows 10
Notes:
- May not be reproducible from the first try
- At first, it was not reproducible on macOS 13.2.1 (Intel) but another day it was reproducible so “Not reproducible on” machines may not be accurate.
