Visible Sphere vertex lines in Scene View when “Hair Approximate” Shader Graph Material applied
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project using High Definition 3D Template
2. Open Shader Graph Templates window (Project window > Create > Shader Graph > From Template)
3. Select “Hair Approximate” Template and press “Create”
4. When created, press on “Hair Approximate” Shader in Project window and convert it to the Material
5. In Hierarchy create Sphere GameObject
6. Add “Hair Approximate” Material to the Sphere GameObject
7. Observe Sphere in Scene view
Actual results: Sphere vertex lines are visible on the GameObject when Hair Shader Material is applied
Expected results: Sphere vertex lines are not visible on the GameObject when Hair Shader Material is applied
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.9f1, 6000.4.0b8, 6000.5.0a7
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.67f1 (Templates window not available)
Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon Tahoe 26.2 (M1)
Notes:
- Issue is visible in Game View as well
