Virtual Mouse occasionally displays errors in the Console when the GameObject it is attached to is enabled/disabled
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-84263” project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Enter Play mode
4. Press “Space” a few times
5. Observe the result
6. If the issue does not reproduce, exit Play mode, and go back to step 3
Expected result: No errors are shown in the Console
Actual result: A “NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error is shown in the Console
Reproducible in: 1.7.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.49f1), 1.11.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.49f1, 6000.0.22f1)
Reproducible on: Windows 10, Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: If the issue does not reproduce right away, re-enter Play mode before trying again
