VFX Graph is not updated when Shader Externalization is enabled and the .vfxshader file is changed
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "VFX_Externalization.zip" project
2. Select the "Test" VFX Graph in the Project window
3. Press "Reveal Extern" in the Inspector window
4. Delete some properties from the .vfxshader file
5. Go back to the Editor
Expected result: Multiple errors thrown in the Console log due to deleted properties in the .vfxshader file
Actual result: No errors thrown in the Console log and VFX Graph works properly without them
Reproducible with: 7.5.2 (2019.4.19f1), 10.3.1 (2020.2.3f1), 11.0.0 (2021.1.0b4, 2021.2.0a3)
