"Unknown error occurred while loading" gets continuously spammed in the console while an Empty/Corrupted file is selected
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project and open it
2. Add the attached "empty.mat" file to it
3. In the Project Window click on it to Inspect it
4. Observe the console error
Expected result: A descript error explaining why the file can't be Inspected is thrown once
Actual result: "Unknown error occurred while loading 'Assets/test.mat'." error is constantly spammed in the console
Reproducible in: 2020.1.0a2, 2019.3.0b1, 2019.2.3f1, 2018.4.8f1, 2018.3.0a1
Not reproducible in: 2018.2.21f1, 2017.4.32f1
