Unable to select UI Toolkit Foldout element when using a gamepad controller
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “UITKFaultyControllerSupport.zip“ project
2. Connect the controller
3. Open the SampleScene and enter Play mode
4. Move the analog stick of the controller until the Foldout element is highlighted in cyan
5. Press “X” or “A” buttons on the controller to select the Foldout element
Expected result: The Foldout element is selected, the menu it contains opens and its items can be selected
Actual result: Nothing happens when the Foldout element is selected
Reproducible with: 2021.3.39f1, 2022.3.33f1, 6000.0.1f1
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.6f1
Fixed in: 6000.0.2f1
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.5 (Intel)
Notes:
- Issue is no longer reproducible if the Foldout element is opened and closed with a mouse
- Issue is reproducible when the controller is connected via cord and via Bluetooth
- Reproducible with Xbox and DualSense controllers
- Also reproducible on Windows and macOS Standalone Players
