UI Shader Graph Preview is rendered in Game view after creating or deleting a UI Document in the Scene
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- Open the SampleScene
- Open the testGraph shadergraph asset
- Switch to Game view
- Create a UI Document object in the Scene
- Observe the Game view
Actual results: UI Shader Graph's Preview is rendered in the Game view
Expected results: UI Shader Graph's Preview is not rendered in the Game view
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a6_6966ed4b28e1, 6000.3.2f1, 6000.4.0b2, 6000.5.0a3
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a5_36d7e9fd6645
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.64f1, 6000.3.0a4 (UI Shader graphs were not yet available)
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS 26.1
Notes:
- The issue does not reproduce if the ShaderGraph window was not opened
- Preview artifacts disappear from the Game view after entering Play mode. However, they will reappear if the steps are repeated
- The issue occurs when a UI Document object is created or deleted in the Scene's Hierarchy
