UI Builder Inspector scrolls back up when changes on an expanded but not fully displayed Inspector tab are saved
How to reproduce:
- Create and open a new project
- Create and open a new UI Document in the UI Builder window
- Add a Visual Element to the Hierarchy in the UI Builder window
- Expand some tabs at the top until the Inspector becomes scrollable
- Scroll down one click
- Below other expanded tabs, expand one such tab that, when expanded, does not render completely vertically (extends beyond the UI Builder view)
- Make any change (Don’t scroll down past the bottom of the current expanded tab)
- Save the changes (with CTRL + S)
- Observe the Inspector in the UI Builder window
- Expand one tab lower and repeat steps 6-9, and observe
Expected result: The Inspector does not automatically scroll up
Actual result: The Inspector automatically scrolls up to the top in step 9
Reproducible in: 2023.1.0a1, 6000.0.60f1, 6000.2.10f1, 6000.3.0b8, 6000.4.0a3
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- This bug should reproduce
- Most of the time, the scrollbar returns to its previous position
