[Ubuntu][Version Control] Enable/Disable button labels are shown as “EnableButton”/“DisableButton” instead in Project Settings on Linux

-

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project
2. Make sure Version Control button is available in Toolbar (kebab button on the right > Services > Version Control)
3. Click on Version Control button in the Toolbar
4. Select “Settings” from the menu
5. Observe the enable/disable button in Unity Version Control Settings (Project Settings window)

Actual results: Button shows “DisableButton” or “EnableButton”

Expected results: Button shows “Disable” or “Enable”

Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0b4, 6000.4.0a3
Can’t test with versions: 6000.2.8f1 and lower (Menu with settings not available once clicked on VC in toolbar)

Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 22.04

  1. Resolution Note:

Posponed for now as we plan to do a UX redesign in the short term that will end up fixing this one.
