“Trying to read value of type Float while reading a value of type Enum” and “Trying to read value of type Dimension while reading a value of type Enum” errors are thrown when interacting with the ProBuilder Window in a specific project
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “ASDQWE” project
2. In the Hierarchy Window, create a new cube using the ProBuilder package (right-click > ProBuilder > Cube)
3. Select the created “Cube” GameObject
4. In the Inspector Window, under the “ProBuilder MeshFilter” Component, select the “Open ProBuilder” Button
Expected result: The ProBuilder Window is opened
Actual result: “Trying to read value of type Float while reading a value of type Enum” and “Trying to read value of type Dimension while reading a value of type Enum” errors are thrown
Reproducible with: 5.2.0, 5.2.2 (2022.2.0a15), 5.2.2 (2022.3.18f1)
Not reproducible with: 5.2.0, 5.2.2 (2021.3.33f1, 2022.2.0a14), 5.2.2 (2023.2.8f1), 6.0.0-pre.1 (2023.3.0b5)
Fixed in: 5.2.2 (2022.3.19f1)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: macOS Sonoma 14.3 (Intel)
Notes:
- The errors are also thrown when: creating the “Cube” GameObject, selecting the ProBuilder Package in the Package Manager Window, upgrading or downgrading the ProBuilder package version, hovering the mouse over any ProBuilder Window UI, or when opening the project opening a Scene where the ProBuilder Window is open by default
- Not reproducible on a blank project
