“Trail Renderer” window doesn’t disappear, and the “MissingReferenceException” error appears when deleting a “Trail” GameObject after pressing its “Play” button
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. In the Hierarchy window, add “Trail” (Right click > Effects > Trail)
3. In the “Trail Renderer” window, press the “Play” button
4. Delete the “Trail” GameObject
5. Observe the Scene and Console windows
Expected result: The “Trail Renderer” window disappears, and no errors appear
Actual result: The “Trail Renderer” window doesn’t disappear, and the “MissingReferenceException” error appears
Reproducible with: 2022.3.10f1, 2023.1.16f1, 2023.2.0b13, 2023.3.0a9
Could not test with: 2021.3.31f1 (“Trail Renderer” window doesn’t appear)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.5.2 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
