The Inspector is empty when selecting states and transitions of the Sub-State Machine that has been duplicated
How to reproduce
1. Open the attached '1282450.zip' project
2. In the Project window double click on 'Controller1'
3. In the Animator window right-click on 'New State' and select 'Copy'
4. In the Project window double click on 'Controller2'
5. Right-click in the Animator window and select 'Paste'
6. Double click on the pasted Sub-State Machine
7. In the Animator window select 'New State' and observe the Inspector window
Expected result: The Inspector shows the 'New State' information
Actual result: The Inspector window is empty
Reproducible with: 2020.1.0b10, 2020.1.8f1, 2020.2.0a11, 2020.2.0b6
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.28f1, 2019.4.12f1, 2020.1.0b9, 2020.2.0a10
