Switching Inspector between Normal and Debug modes applies pending Sprite changes

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the attached project
  1. Select Test Sprite in the Project window
  1. In the Inspector window change the Texture Type
  1. Observe that the Sprite has unapplied changes and the Inspector window is marked as Dirty
  1. Switch Inspector to Debug mode

Actual results: Switching Inspector mode applies pending Sprite Changes

Expected results: Switching Inspector mode does not automatically Apply pending changes

Reproducible with versions: 2022.3.60f1, 6000.0.44f1, 6000.1.0b12, 6000.2.0a7

Tested on (OS): macOS 15.3.2, Windows 11,

Notes:

  • In some cases, the Inspector behaves as expected. With 6000.0.0f1, switching from Aseprite Animated Sprite to Sprite Sheet in Debug mode and then switching Inspector to Normal mode would not apply the pending changes
