Special keycodes sent by a media controller can not be detected
This is a regression from Unity 4.2.2f1. Special keycodes such as
KEYCODE_MEDIA_FAST_FORWARD
KEYCODE_MEDIA_REWIND
KEYCODE_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE
can not be detected anymore.

I'm still having issues with Fire TV text input with Unity 5, where the game terminates when using the remote's Pause button while entering text. Is there any ETA on a fix?

Ping on this issue. Text entry on a fire tv is completely broken from this.

Latest unity still seems to have this issue in android. Which release will this be in?
