Regression
No
Some Material Overrides are viewed as broken when using the Shadergraph CustomLighting package sample
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the “UnityCustomLightingSend.zip“ project
- Open the “SampleScene“
- Open the Window → Analysis → Rendering Debugger
- Press on the Material tab
- For Material Override, select the “Emission“ value in the Rendering Debugger
- Observe the Scene view or the Game view
Actual result: Two of the spheres show up black in the Scene
Expected result: All three spheres show up textured in the Scene
Reproducible in: 2023.3.0a9, 6000.0.68f1, 6000.3.9f1, 6000.4.0b9, 6000.5.0a7
Could not test in: 2023.1.0a1, 2023.3.0a4 (URP problems, missing textures, broken materials when downgrading)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The shadergraph custom lightning samples (Custom Lighting Basic and Custom Lighting URP) located in the Custom Lighting folder render in black when selecting the Material override for emission, Normal word space, and some others in the Rendering debugger
- If emission is added to the default URP Material, the objects with that texture would appear textured as well
