Slower performance on macOS when using newest Unity streams [Graphics job system?]
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project “PerformanceRepro”
2. Open the “Assets/MagicaCloth2/Example (Can be deleted)/DemoScenes/HDRP/UnityChanKAGURA_HDRP” scene
3. Set Game view resoliution to Full HD (1920x1080)
4. Enable Stats overlay
5. Enter the Play mode
6. Inspect the frame rate
Expected result: Average frame rate is about 80 FPS.
Actual result: Average frame rate is about 60 FPS
Reproducible with: 2022.2.0a5, 2022.2.9f1, 2023.1.0b7, 2023.2.0a5
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.20f1
Couldn’t test with: 2020.3.46f1 - Assets didn’t load properly, 2022.2.0a4 and lower - Couldn’t downgrade Burst package
Reproducible with: macOS 13.1 (Intel)
Not reproducible with: macOS 13.1 (M1)
Note: Couldn’t find the exact regression point because of a package issue
