Silent crash caused by stack overflow from infinite recursion during the Play Mode
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project
2. Open Assets/main.unity scene
3. Enter the Play Mode
Expected result: StackOverflowException is caught
Actual result: Editor crashes
Reproducible with: 0.50.0-preview.24 (2020.3.33f1)
