Issue ID
1305275
Regression
No
Shadows of the risen mountain are copied to every Terrain Tile when the Terrain Tiles were created using Terrain Tools on
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "1305275_Repro" project
2. Open the "TerrainShadow" Scene (Found in the "Assets" folder)
3. Observe the 2d, 3rd, and 5th children of the "TerrainGroupd_0" GameObject in the Scene view
Expected results: The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th children GameObject Trerrains don't have shadows
Actual results: The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th children GameObject Terrains have the 1st one's shadows
Reproducible with: 2019.4.18f1, 2020.1.17f1, 2020.2.2f1, 2021.1.0b3, 2021.2.0a2
2021.1.0b2.1745 & HDRP 11.0.0
2021.1.0b4.1811 & HDRP 11.0.0
Not reproducible with:
2021.2.0a4 && HDRP latest
2021.2.0a4 && HDRP 11.0.0
2021.2.0a4 && HDRP 10.0.0
2021.2.0a4 && HDRP 9.0.0
Could not test with: 2018.4.30f1 because the Terrain Tools were not yet introduced
Notes:
- The issue is only reproducible with HDRP and URP, not reproducible when using Built-in Render Pipeline
