Setting UnityEngine.UI.Text.text property repeatedly causes a memory leak
How to reproduce:
1. Open "TextMemoryLeak" project
2. Open the Scene
3. Enter Play mode and check the memory usage for some time
4. Stop the Play mode, the memory is still being used
Expected result: The memory usage should be cleaned while in Play mode.
Actual result: The memory usage cleans only when Unity is closed.
Reproducible with: 2017.1.0a1, 2017.1.0f3, 2017.2.0b3.
Regression introduced in: 2017.1.0a1.
Not reproducible with: 5.5.4p1, 5.6.2f1.
