Search field for the project list has no character limit and if loads of characters are inputted the UI breaks until HUB is killed and restarted
How to reproduce:
1. Open Hub
2. In the search field for Projects enter loads of characters (using copy/paste helps)
Actual result: Hub UI breaks and does not repaint or the whole application freezes
Expected result: The search field has a character limit
Note: Same issue appears when inputting characters in the Filter text field when creating a project and searching for a version
Reproducible with: 3.5.1-beta.1
Reproduced on: Windows 11, macOS Ventura
