ScriptableObject variable values in the Inspector are not updated in real time when in Play Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project ("scriptable objects.zip")
2. Open the repro scene ("SampleScene")
3. Enter Play Mode
4. In the Project tab, select "Data" scriptable object and inspect "Some Int" value
Expected results: The value is being updated
Actual results: The value is not being updated
Reproducible with: 2019.1.0a10, 2019.2.0a6
Not reproducible with: 2017.4.26f1, 2018.3.14f1, 2019.1.0a9, 2019.2.0a7, 2019.2.0a13
Notes:
1. Re-selecting the object updates the value to what it was at that moment
