Regression
Yes
Script recompilation doesn't trigger automatically when switching build targets
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the “TestNullString” project
2. Go to File → Build Settings and Switch Platform to Dedicated Server or Windows, Mac, Linux
Expected result: Triggers script recompilation
Actual result: Doesn’t recompile scripts
Reproducible with: 2021.3.8f1, 2021.3.17f1, 2022.2.0a10, 2022.2.3f1, 2023.1.0a20
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.44f1, 2021.3.7f1, 2022.2.0a1, 2022.2.0a9, 2023.1.0b1
Fixed in: 2023.1.0a21
Reproduced on: macOS Monterey 12.2 (Intel)
Note: 2020.3.44f1 was tested by switching to the tvOS platform, as there isn’t a Dedicated Server option
