Scene loading is slower on Android than on iOS
Loading the scene via "LoadLevelAdditiveAsync" takes 2 seconds to load on an iPad 4 and around 10 seconds on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
The scene being loaded only has a single root GameObject, with lots of children, all NGUI related.
