Regression
No
Rigged GameObject doesn’t return to its idle state when disabling "Preview" and the GameObject has nested rigged GameObjects
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “CrashRepro“ project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity“ Scene
3. Open the Animation window (Window > Animation > Animation)
4. Select the “e56“ GameObject in the Hierarchy
5. In the Animation window, press “Preview“ and then “Preview“ again
Expected result: The “e56“ GameObject returns to the idle state
Actual result: The “e56“ GameObject is still in the “Preview“ state
Reproducible with: 2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.48f1, 6000.1.3f1, 6000.2.0a10
Reproducible on: macOS 15.3.2 Sequoia (Intel), Windows 11 (by user)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note: Editing the “e56“ GameObject and then undoing the change will return it to its idle state
