“Render Textures” causes a Memory leak when the Android Platform is selected and Unity is running in the background
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “IN_55188” project
2. In the Build Settings make sure the Android Platform is selected
3. Minimize the Editor
4. Open the Task Manager
Expected result: editor RAM consumption not increasing
Actual result: editor RAM consumption increases and never stops
Reproducible with: 2022.3.8f1, 2022.3.9f1
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.30f1, 2022.3.7f1, 2023.1.14f1, 2023.2.0b10, 2023.3.0a5
Fixed in: 2022.3.10f1
Reproducible on: Windows 10 Pro, macOS Ventura 13.5.2 (M1)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Not reproducible when other Platforms are selected (Windows Standalone tested)
- Reproducible on the new project
