Regression
No
RectTransform.rect.Set() doesn't make changes
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached "Case 795490 repro" project
2. Open "test" scene
3. Play the scene
4. Observe Rect Transform's size and position properties of "Cube" object in Inspector
Results: Method was called but Rect Transform's size and position didn't change.
Note: I've made a little delay to observe changes. It takes about 3-6 seconds before running the RectTransform.rect.Set() method.
Reproduced with: 5.1.4f1; 5.2.4f1; 5.3.4f1; 5.3.4p6; 5.4.0b16
