[Quest] [Vulkan] Player crashes on ImageManager::DeleteTexture when changing Scene with a specific project
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "ReproProj" with Android platform
2. Open the “/Assets/Scenes/BasicScene.unity” Scene
3. Open the Build Settings window (File > Build Settings)
4. Build and Run on the Oculus Quest 2
5. Let Player run for about 5 minutes
Expected result: The Player does not crash and continues to run
Actual result: Player crashes
Reproducible with: 2022.3.8f1, 2022.3.13f1, 2023.1.0b9
Not reproducible with: 2022.3.7f1, 2023.2.0f1, 2023.3.0a14
Fixed in: 2023.1.0b10
Could not test with: 2021.3.32f1 (Assets\Scripts\Graphics\RenderPipeline\FPRenderPipeline.cs(738,13): error CS0103: The name 'XRPass' does not exist in the current context)
Reproducible on:
VLNQA00379, Oculus (Quest 2), Android 10, CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno (TM) 650
Testing environment: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Does not reproduce with OpenGLES3
- Reproduces with Mono and IL2CPP when using Vulkan
- Getting null NullReferenceExeption, DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL ‘OVRPlugn’ and black screen when built with OpenXR
- 2023.1.X Beta versions crash on launch except for 2023.1.0b10 and above
- The project has been modified to quickly reproduce the issue by changing MSAA settings every frame and forcing Unity to recreate eye buffers
