[Quest] Editor crashes on UnityOpenXRHands_TryInitialize after entering Play Mode a second time with Meta Link

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new VR/MR template
2. Install XR Hands package
3. Download the Hand Visualizer Sample
4. Open the "HandVisualizer.unity" Scene
5. Connect Meta link to Quest 2/3
6. Enter Play Mode and exit Play Mode 2 times

Expected results: Editor doesn't crash on the second Play Mode run with Meta Link
Actual results: Editor crashes on the second Play Mode run with Meta Link

Reproducible with according to users: XR Hands 1.4.1 - 1.5.0-pre.3 (2022.3.42f1, 6000.0.15f1)

Reproducible on these devices according to users:
Quest 3
Quest 2

User Testing Environment: Windows 11, Windows 10
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested

Notes:
-According to users, crash reproduces with Airlink and wired Meta Link connection
-According to users, crash reproduces when either on the Windows Standalone platform or Android
-Editor crash stacktrace first 5 lines:

    We cannot reproduce this, and the customer states he can no longer reproduce this. Please file another ticket if this issue occurs again

    We have unfortunately not been able to reproduce the crash locally, so if you or anyone that comes across this issue tracker could submit a bug report with as much information as possible, that would certainly help a lot!

    This appears to happen regardless of what the link situation is. I have the same issue using virtual desktop and vdxr, so I don't think this is a problem with metas airlink specifically.
