[Quest] Canvas is displayed in the Left Eye of Quest 2 when "Screen Space - Overlay" is selected in a specific project
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "ReproProj"
2. Open the “/Assets/Scenes/Core.unity” Scene
3. Connect Quest 2 with Oculus Link
4. Enter the Play Mode
5. Set the Game view window to show Both Eyes
6. Observe the Game view
Expected result: Canvas is only rendered for the monitor
Actual result: Canvas is displayed in the Left Eye of Quest 2
Reproducible with: 2022.3.19f1, 2023.2.9f1
Could not test with: 2021.3.35f1, 2023.3.0b5 (Assets\Scripts\FadeScreenControl.cs(14,13): error CS0619: 'XRRig' is obsolete: 'XRRig has been deprecated. Use the XROrigin component instead.')
Reproducible with devices:
VLNQA00379, Oculus (Quest 2), Android 10, CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno (TM) 650
Testing environment: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Reproducible with OpenXR and Oculus XR
- Did not reproduce with a different project
- When testing with a different project, the Game view still shows the Canvas in the Left Eye, but it’s not present when looking through the headset. With this project, the Canvas is also present when looking through the headset
