Regression
Yes
Public reference doesn't visually update when changing a public reference back to "None" in the Inspector
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project "PublicRefBug.zip"
2. Open Scene "SampleScenes" (Assets/Scenes)
3. Select the "AUDIO" GameObject
4. Click on the circular selection symbol right from the "Audio Clip" in the "Audiotest" Script Component in the Inspector
5. Select the "[onlymp3.to|http://onlymp3.to]" mp3 file
6. Repeat step 4 and select "None"
Expected result: Public reference switches to "None"
Actual result: The public reference switches to "None", but visually it stays the same
Reproducible with: 2022.2.0a17, 2022.2.0b8, 2023.1.0a12
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.40f1, 2021.3.10f1, 2022.1.17f1, 2022.2.0a16
