No
Physics.SphereCast(origin, radius, direction, out hitInfo, layerMask) ignores the layerMask parameter
How to reproduce:
1. Open the "Physics_Test.zip" project
2. Open the "Physics.unity" scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Check the Console
Actual result: Objects from "Default" layer are hit, even though the LayerMask is set to "Water".
Expected result: No objects are hit.
Reproducible with: 2020.1.0a4, 2019.3.0b4, 2019.2.6f1, 2018.4.9f1, 2017.4.32f1.
Notes:
- Not reproducible with Physics.BoxCast.
- May be reproducible with other functions as well, haven't tested them all.
