Particle effect stars flickering in play mode using Control Track with child particle effect with Start Delay
If using Timeline with Control Track and Particle effect with a child Particle effect with Start Delay that is added in Control Playable Asset > Source Game Object, Particle effect starts to flicker in Play mode.
To reproduce:
1. Open users attached project "effect_bug_check.zip"
2. Open "test.unity" scene
3. Enter Play mode
Expected result: particle effect is played without flickering
Actual result: particle effect is flickering in Play mode
Reproducible: 2017.3.0b7 2017.3.2f1 2017.4.4f1 2018.1.3f1
Not reproducible: 2017.1.3f1 2017.2.2p4 2018.2.0b7
Reproduces on:
Win10 machine and MacOS HighSierra 10.13.4

Still an issue in 2018.3.0f2.
Disable "Control Particle System" under "Advanced" in the Control Track to temporary fix the problem. -
