[Particle] Editor freezes when working with particle system
What happened:
Editor freezes when particle effect preview is running continuously on scene
Steps to Repo:
1. Create particle effect
2. Particle System > Max Particles > Increase to 10000
3. Emission > Rate over time > Increase to 1000
4. Play around with different particle settings and leave particle effect running in preview
5. Observe after sometimes editor freezes automatically
Note: Normally it is happening while working with the editor for 20-30 minutes. To reproduce it more consistently I am forcing high settings, however, it is also occurring while working with low settings but it takes longer for the freeze to occur. Sometimes freeze is also occurring while working on other components like animation or animator window.
Actual Result:
Editor freezes
Expected Result:
Editor works without freezing
Frequency:
3/5
Workaround:
Force close and restart editor
Occurring in:
2018.1.0a1, 2018.1.0a3
Working fine on:
2018.1.0a2, 2017.3.0b9
Environment:
Unity 2018.1.0a3
License type: Pro

I am experiencing something like this in 2018.2.14
Lots of particles, selecting the PS node causes the editor to freeze for 10-15 minutes.

I get this all the time too. All I need to do is set the particle count to 10000 or higher. I don't see why this is "not reproducible" when I can reproduce it every time.
