Package Manager "Install package by name" window shows in the wrong spot when the Package Manager is undocked
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new 3D HDRP or URP project
2. Open the Package Manager and ensure it is not docked with other windows
3. Press the + in the upper left corner and click “Install package by name”
4. Observe the result
Expected result: The window appears underneath the + sign
Actual result: The window appears on the left side of the screen
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a11, 2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.43f1 (d93a087d18e1)
Not reproducible with: 2022.1.0a10 , 6000.0.49f1, 6000.1.4f1, 6000.2.0b3
Fixed in: 6000.0.44f1
Reproduced on: Windows 11
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Restarting the project seems to fix the issue
- Seems to not reproduce if the Package Manager is already open - needs to be opened manually
- Isn’t totally consistent but should reproduce within 5 times of clicking “Install package by name”
- The position of the window changes sometimes but generally appears somewhere on the left side of the screen
