Opening external applications (like code editor) makes all additional/external windows to disappear
Reproduction Steps:
1. Create new project
2. Separate Project, Console or other tabs to their own windows
3. Create new script
4. Double click on one the script
5. Notice that all the additional windows disappears
Expected behaviour: When scripts are being opened, additional/external windows stay visible.
Actual result: When external application is opened, all additional/external windows are hidden.
Reproduced on versions: Unity 2017.3.0p1, 2017.3.2f1, 2018.1.0b12, 2018.2.0a6
Did not reproduced on versions: Unity 2017.2.2p2, 2017.3.0f3
