OpengGL ES 3.0 applications does not run on old devices
An application crashes or a black screen is shown when it is built with the OpenGL ES 3.0 graphics level. Running AngryBots demo project on the Galaxy S device results in a crash. The same project played on the Galaxy S 3, Galaxy Nexus or Nexus 7 displays only the black screen. The sound (of the attacking flying bot) can be heard.
Reproduced on:
Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) with Android 2.3.3
Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300) with Android 4.1.2
Google Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.3
Google Nexus 7 with Android 4.3
Reproduced with:
Unity Version 4.3.0f1 (364a09962f82)
Resolution:
Old devices are not capable of running GLES 3 content.
