NullReferenceExceptions and GUI Errors thrown when navigating between Editor windows
Repro steps:
1. Open attached project
2. In a project window select "Scenes" folder
3. Click on "SampleScene"
4. Click on another Project window
Expected result: No errors appear
Actual result: NullReferenceException and GUI Error messages appear
Reproducible with: 2019.2.2f1, 2019.3.0a12, 2020.1.0a1
Can not reproduce with: 2017.4.32f1, 2018.4.7f1, 2019.1.14f1 (saved layout is not transfered, cannot reproduce by hand)
